Hello! My name is Kat and I am a whirlwind of bubbly energy. I am one half of the dynamic duo that is Z92.5's morning show. If you listen Monday-Friday from 6-9AM, then you know that waking up with Dan and Kat is the BEST way to start your day. Although it sounds like Dan and I have been co-hosting together since the dawn of time, I've only been at The Castle since September 2011. Even though I haven't been at The Castle long, I have been a part of this community my entire life, and at Z92.5, that makes you family. Although I am not professionally trained, broadcasting is one of the loves of my life, my absolute dream job, and a talent that comes naturally. I am definitely a morning person! I'm often described as talkative, and if you are a listener you'll know why.
A little about myself and my background: I have held many leadership positions, both academically and socially, such as planning and organizing blood drives and recruiting donors withe the help of the American Red Cross or arranging class reunions for my fellow classmates as the President of the class of 2006. I enjoy vounteering and do it quite often. I am Miss Saginaw County Galaxy 2006, as well as 1st runner-up Chesaning Showboat Queen 2006. I have competed in 5 Miss Michigan Preliminaries for the Miss America Organization (Miss Heart of Michigan x2, Miss West Michigan, Miss Tip of the Mitt, Miss Capital City), and in a regional pageant for Miss Galaxy (Miss Central Michigan Galaxy 2006). I am a 2006 Chesaning High School graduate and a student at Baker College of Owosso, currently pursuing my major in Business Marketing and Minor in Psychology. I am four classes away from having my minor. I am a Jill-of all-trades, master-of-none, and have worn many hats and worked many jobs. I have sold Amish furniture and quilts, made fast food, re-keyed locks, became a certified nursery consultant, roofed houses, done car repairs and body work, photographed weddings, modeled, and that's just the tip of the iceburg.

I also host our InFocus program that airs Sunday mornings at 9:30. InFocus is a great platform for community leaders to get their concerns and opinions heard, while promoting the assets that are available to local citizens.
